Back at Loeb Stadium To See the Lafayette Aviators

I finally made it back to Loeb Stadium to see the Lafayette Aviators play again. I was at their opening day game, but things just have not worked out for me to get to the stadium to see them play. I might be one of the only people in town that enjoys shooting at Loeb Stadium. I like the challenge of shooting at the stadium, and the dust that seems to always be around is something that I am not used to seeing. So many fields these days are turf. I like the cloud of dust that a player at Loeb creates sliding into a base. With the Colt World Series coming up this week I will have more opportunities to shoot at the stadium very quickly.

Purdue Basketball Coach Matt Painter Throws Out the First Pitch

One thing that I noticed at the game was the large amount of people throwing out the ‘first pitch.’ It seemed like a never ending line, but at the end of that line was Purdue basketball coach Matt Painter. Today the calendar turns to August, and that means that we will have some Purdue sports to cover this month. The summer is ending, but that just means that fall sports are just around the corner. I never really attended Purdue basketball games until Matt became the head coach at Purdue. Since he took over though I have really enjoyed the brand of basketball that he teaches his kids so I have been to many games. I can’t wait to see how they perform during their overseas trip which is coming up soon.

The Week In Photos

This week once again I have compiled some of my favorite photos from the past week into one Exposure post. If you click here you can see some of the fun that I had last week. A few of the photos from yesterday are in the gallery as well if you want to see more from the game.
