One Last Look Down the Channel

This year when we head to Ocean City it will be to a new location to stay. The house that we have stayed in is being traded in for a condo right on the ocean. We will be closer to everything that we like, but I will miss this quiet view late at night. Last year I spent a lot of time out on the deck looking up at the sky. A few of my photos from those adventures have made the blog. This year I will have the ocean to look out to to make some photos.

Taking On a Challenge

I have posted a similar shot to this one in the past at blue hour showing the lights on the channel. Here I wanted to show the stars as well. The problem is that to expose for the stars you have to blow out the lights on the ground. This was one photo that I spent some time on to try and lesson that effect. I like the simple look of it even if it did take some time to produce. This photo takes me back to a relaxing night on the deck. I look forward to some cool breezes when we return to Ocean City later this summer.
