Legendary Purdue Player Rick Mount Returns

Last night I went back to Mackey Arena to see the return of legendary Purdue basketball player Rick Mount. I knew that the ovation for him as he was announced would be great, and that it would be a great moment to cover. As the final seconds of the first half were ticking off the clock you could sense the electricity in the air. After a short video was played Rick made his way to center court. The ovation was great, and you could see that the moment was not lost on Rick. The entire event was long enough that the regularly schedule halftime show had to be postponed until after the game. This was a great way to kick off 2016.

Bonus Photos From the Game

Here are a few photos from the game that I liked. With a load of Disney photos waiting to be edited I was very selective with what I shot last night. Below are a couple of photos that I thought told a good story.
