The Calm Before the Storm

Before the Christmas light show that I talked about yesterday started I went out to make a few photos as the sun was setting. I was focused on the lights and the house, but I knew that this light tree would come in handy at some point. I had my wide angle lens out to stretch the already large tree even more. I love the way that this shot turned out. It is not my typical Christmas photo, but I like it just the same.

One Last Game

Today I will shoot the last football game of the season for the Purdue Boilermakers. No matter the outcome of the games it is a blast to shoot football in Ross Ade Stadium. I do not have any affiliation with the athletic department so I always treat this last game like it could be my last. I will not know until next August if I will be able to shoot again next season. Tomorrow I will have a few photos from the game like I usually do I am sure. It has been a couple of weeks since I have shot any sports. It will be nice to get out and shoot a little today.
