Purdue Wins In Some Terrific Light

Last night I had the shots that I wanted to get, but the great light steaming into Alexander Field kept me there much longer than I needed to be. It was a beautiful day for baseball, and the Boilers did not disappoint. They erupted for six runs in the first inning which answered my question of how they would respond to the tough loss Sunday.

Watching Another Golden Spikes Award Finalist

Illinois State catcher Paul DeJong is another player that is on the short list for the Golden Spikes Award. Maryland brought two such players in last weekend. It is nice to get to see some of the elite talent in baseball as they come through West Lafayette. Who knows where these players will end up.

Bonus Photos

As I may have mentioned the light was amazing last night. I like to shoot backlit, but last night I took the light. Below are a few photos that I liked from the night. You can see my full gallery here on my website.
