One Last Day of Shooting the Tournament
When I walked away from the Purdue Soccer Complex last night I was a little sad. I had a great time photographing the eight teams that came to West Lafayette for the tournament. It seemed like just when I was getting into a great groove shooting soccer it will end. I guess that with the temperatures dropping that is a good thing. I think that I was so into what I was doing that I didn’t even notice the cold temperatures. This was something that will not happen again in the short term at least as the tournament format is changing, but I was glad to get to experience the entire thing. There is something about spending a lot of time doing something that pulls you in a bit. As I was walking away from the stadium I couldn’t help but feel a little sad. This was over, and it will be on to the next thing. I will have a little more on the tournament later in the week as I look back at some of my favorite images from the seven games that I saw. All seven were shutouts for one team, but they had exciting moments throughout them.
Bonus Photos
Today I have a couple of links for you. I have posted a bunch of photos here on my SmugMug site from the day. It is part of a bigger collection of photos from the entire tournament. I have also created an Exposure.co page for the tournament that you can find here. Of course I have also posted a couple of extra photos that I loved from the day below.
