The Joy of Baseball

Los Gatos wins the Title Game of the Colt World Series 9-8 Puerto Rico

Last night I made my first trip over to Loeb Stadium to see the title game of the Colt World Series. I have been meaning to go to the series since I moved to West Lafayette in 2011, but something always got in the way. If the game that I saw is any indication of the show that they put on every year I will not miss another game. This was a high energy back and forth game that needed extra innings, and three rallies to finish.

The photo above was made as Puerto Rico had just taken the lead in the 8th inning. The pure emotion from this team was awesome, and even though I did not really care who won or lost I was feeling the excitement. Of course Los Gatos came right back in the bottom of the inning to bring the level up again. If you need to find me at the beginning of August next year I will be at Loeb Stadium. This was too much fun not to attend again and again.

A New Exposure Page

I was not sure if I was going to turn this game into an exposure page. After the events of the last two innings I decided that I needed to put one together. You can follow the link here to see my story on the game.

Bonus Photos

I will include a few photos below that I liked from the game. This game had so many turning points that I of course needed to include a few extra photos.
