Here is a photo from last fall at the Indianapolis Zoo. I was trying some things out with high apertures and fences at the time. I really was just learning what my camera could do. Here I made a terrible netting disappear by shooting at f/2.8. That worked enough that I was able to make some pictures of the animals that were father back in their enclosures. It also allowed me to make this picture of one primate helping another one out.

Technical Data

I have already talked a little about why this was possible with a high aperture. I started off the post processing here by using the light sports preset in Lightroom by Matt Kloskowski. I know I use a lot of his presets, but they work very well. They are also free which is great. I then adjusted the white balance a bit, and I was done.
