Photo of the Day
Today I revisited a site in my hometown that has already been on this blog. Christmas Day was day 80 on this blog and I took a bonus shot that you can see here. I did not have a tripod that night, but I really wanted to capture that moment. Tonight I had the tripod, but not the brilliant sunset. I tried hard to come up with a composition to make what I did have in front of me interesting. After a couple of ideas I came up with this one. The bridge is dedicated to a childhood friend who died too early. I liked the idea of getting another shot of that bridge on this trip home.
Technical Data
This shot was a three shot HDR using the -2, 0, and +2 exposure. I ran the pictures through Photomatix, and that was all of the processing to the shot that I did. I did not like any part of any of the other photos enough to mask them in. I did perform a little crop to condense the picture, but that was it.
