Day 243: Life In An Airport

Yesterday was spent for the most part in airports. I guess I should say about six hours of my day was spent either there or in the air. It is no wonder then why all of my pictures for the day were taken at the same spot. We said goodbye to California which was hard to do. We were only there a short time, but I really enjoyed the new sites. I will have to go back another time when I can see a bit more of the state. I took the shot above while waiting for my food. I knew that I had a couple of minutes, and something about this scene drew me in. Of course I had no tripod with me since I was in the airport so I had to try this handheld. I was going to use a table, but I liked this angle very much. I tried to be as still as possible for the shot, and it worked out. I only had one shot at this since I noticed that they were looking for me to give me my food, and I had to get downstairs to the baggage claim. Luckily it came out okay. I took pictures at every airport that I was in today, but the airport closest to home (Indianapolis) gets the picture of the day. Sometimes it is just good to be home again.
