Today I was driving down Main Street in Lafayette when I heard that there was an accident up ahead of me on the radio. I knew I needed to turn around, but did not know where. I saw this frozen custard stand, and knew I had my spot to turn around. My camera was on the seat next to me so I quickly shot a 6 shot exposure of the building. I thought that it looked good in the dead of winter, but I imagine it will look great in the summer all lit up. I will have to come back for sure. This location is right across the street from Columbian Park. Of course I spent a few days this fall trying to find fences to shoot through. I had no idea that Lafayette had a zoo until it had already closed for the year. That may be even more of a reason to come back here. For some reason I have never spent a lot of time around this part of town so that just gives me a reason to come back.
Don’t you love the list. I have a massive list of all the places I want to go back and photograph.
My list just keeps getting bigger
