Day 112 Part Two: A Rare Moment Standing Still

As I said in the previous post I was taking pictures of my brothers dogs Mocha and Riot tonight. I put the 50mm lens on the camera to mess around with that a little, and I was getting mixed results. Trying to shoot a moving dog within the two inch window of focus can be interesting. Mocha is easy to get a picture of. She moves around, but she stays still a reasonable amount of time. Riot on the other hand is a constant blur. I had to play with him over an hour just to get this shot that you see above. Even then I only had time to get the camera up and shoot. I took a three shot burst in high speed mode, and this is the only shot that he is reasonable in frame. The shot before and after this he is partially on either side of the frame. Luckily he is in frame here, and the shot turned out pretty cool. Like the shot of Mocha I had better quality picture of Riot, but I really liked this one. I knew it right away, and I put the camera down for good tonight when I took this one.
