Tonight while coming back into Indy we pulled over at the request of a friend. He knew that I had my camera on me, and he had a site to see. The view did not disappoint at all. I took several shots from a couple of angles, but I liked this one the best. I have been dying to try HDR Imaging on a scene like this so I was thrilled to do it. Of course my tripod was very far away again so this and everything else I got was handheld. I will have to come back again quickly when I can get the sun before it is completely gone. I do like how you can see the end of the sunset on the horizon. This was an unexpected part of the day, but great nonetheless. As I said before I took a few pictures tonight. This is great series of shots. I saw them on facebook. I thought they looked great.
That was a very welcome surprise to see that canal at that time of day. Of course most of the people in our group probably just wanted to get home while I was shooting.
