Yet again today I did not have a lot of time to shoot. I have been trying to come up with a good picture everyday, but sooner or later I will shoot everything close to work. Today I found a road that I had not been on yet, and I was greeted with three nice barns to shoot. Of course I have my camera set on bracketed mode so that I could turn the shots into HDR images. I liked all three, but this one really stood out. It was the only barn that had the fading sun on it. I like the way that the sun bounces off the building giving it a bit more character. I have always admired old barns, but they are a great way to practice a bit of HDR photography. They have so many textures that each shot brings something new to the table. Together they form a whole that is great. I guess I will have to challenge myself to shoot some things other than barns. I have started to get a little comfortable, and this photo challenge was initiated to get me out of my comfort zone.
hdr really well done!
