Day 36: A Day to Remember

Today was special for a few reasons. The first is that it was Friday which is always good. It was also 11-11-11 which is pretty cool for a guy who loves numbers. It is the day of the Mackey re dedication as well so I had something to do after work. The most important thing about today though is that it is Veteran’s Day. I never served and maybe that is why I appreciate those that have. Today I took a short drive to the Veteran’s Home here in Lafayette to see the way they have decorated for the holiday. For some reason the rows of stones of those who gave all really struck me so I decided to try an HDR shot here. I think that it came out alright. It looks better than any of the individual pictures pictures that I took so the HDR worked from that aspect. I have to work on using the program to tweak the image a bit more, but for now I like how some of these pictures have come out.
