When The Gourds Don’t Stop Growing

Earlier this summer I was mowing the grass when I saw what looked like a pumpkin vine starting in the yard. I mowed around it to see what it would turn into. What I didn’t expect was a growth that would completely take over our side yard. We started calling the plant Audrey 2 because of Little Shop Of Horrors. I don’t know the exact count as of writing this, but I think it was produced over 250 of these gourds now and the number is still growing. I am pretty sure that this started because we have a little fun hitting the small old pumpkins with a bat in the winter and a rogue seed found its way here. Our little game of winter softball turned into a plant that won’t stop growing.

Halloween Week

This is a fun week on the blog. I will be looking at a few Halloween scenes that I have seen while out and about. I have always loved Halloween and the fun around it. This week the theme will try to have a little fun as well.
