The End Of Degas

The Last Day Of The Degas Exhibit At Purdue

The Degas exhibit at Purdue has been in the same space for over two years now. We have tried to go a lot in the past, but we always seem to only get there when it is closed. Everything aligned on the final day of the exhibit for us. Fall break meant that we could go during the day when the exhibit was open. It was really inspiring to see the work of a true master. I really wish that they would have had better hours for this so that we could have seen it more. I guess it was not aimed at the people in the community and more for the students.

A Great Group

For a while now I have been trying to get a few photographers together for a weekly or biweekly call to talk about our work. It was inspired by the meetings that the great artists of the renaissance had. We are far from the artists of the renaissance, but working together to get better at our craft is never a bad thing. Could you imagine talking about art with Monet, Renoir, Cezanne, and Degas? To be at the table next door would have been amazing.

More Photos From Our Tour

I was surprised at how few photos I took while we were checking out the art. I just looked around for a long time before finally breaking out the camera. Below are a couple of bonus photos from our time with Degas.
