Revisiting The Canon 60D: The Boilermaker Statue

The Boilermaker Statue With A Classic Camera

No matter what camera I have had over the years I have been drawn to photographing the Boilermaker statue. I think that the statue showed up in 2005 which was the same year that I came back from Iowa. It has kind of become the place that I visit when I just want to make a photo and not think about anything else. Here it was part of a bigger walk while using my old Canon 60D.

15 years Of This Blog

This week this blog turns 15. It is hard to believe that fifteen years has gone by so quickly. In 2011 I had gone to conference to learn more about my camera and photography. I spent a couple of months just wandering around with no purpose to my photography. A Google+ group gave me the idea to start a photo a day blog. It would force me to go out and make a photo every day. That is what this started off as. It is crazy to think about what photography has allowed me to do over the years. This week the theme is all about celebrating some of my favorite things to photograph with the camera that started this blog off.
