My First Out Of State Carnegie Library

After leaving Chicago we needed gas. I was in the back and to be honest a little annoyed that we went too far off the highway into a town to get gas. I have always been someone who just finds a spot just off the road. I didn’t want to be a backseat driver though so I didn’t say anything. While we were filling up I saw that there was a Carnegie Library not far from our station. I am always happy to add another Carnegie to my collection, and this was the first one out of state. The full moon is rising on the left side of the image kind of capping my long day as well.

The Way To Milwaukee

The theme this week is all about my trip to Milwaukee at the end of August. It was my 50th birthday so we found some things that make me happy along the way. It was a fun trip and this week we will look at some of the stops that I really enjoyed. Some of them were planned, and others not so much. It was a fun drive and worthy of a week of posts.
