Rowing Down The Wisconsin River

While on a morning photowalk around Milwaukee I stopped to see the Fonz statue. As I was photographing it I heard some commotion down on the river. I looked and saw two crew boats coming my way. I moved to the middle of the bridge to make this photo. I quickly made up a composition and waited for the boats to move to the bottom of the frame. I like how this turned out.

My Favorite Photos Are The Unexpected Ones

Photos like this one are my favorites because I never planned them. In fact I never had any idea about this photo until I saw the boat coming at me. I quickly decided on a composition and made this photo. I love how it came together and the fact that I happened to be there as the boats came through.
