Why Did I Stop Here?

I made this photo while running an errand a while back. I was driving past this Applebee’s when I saw the balloon on top and the sunset happening behind it. I don’t usually photograph buildings like this, but with the sunset I just had to make a photo. I pulled into the parking lot to make this photo. It will never win any awards, but it is a photo of a moment in time. That is kind of what this whole photography thing is supposed to be about.

The Camera In The Car

If you ask my family they probably think that it is weird that whenever we go somewhere I grab my camera bag. Even a quick errand later at night the camera goes with me. You never know when you will find something interesting, and this really fit that bill. I didn’t plan on making anything, but this caught my eye, and I had the camera to make the photo.
