Sunset At Connie’s Pizza

Friday night we were deriving up to Wisconsin for a wedding. On the way we went through Chicago at the perfect time to visit one of my favorite places to grab a pizza. I used to stop here all the time just to grab a sausage pizza when I went to Sox games. Chicago pizza just is different from pizza that you get anywhere else. This was a fun way to celebrate a little on the way up north.

What Kind Of Pizza Do You Like?

When you think of Chicago pizza you probably think of some very deep dish pizza. To me that is what you get if you are visiting. The real Chicago pizza has a very thin crust and is cut into squares. I really missed this kind of pizza when I moved to Lafayette. Luckily in the last couple of years we have had a place open up that does a Chicago pizza very well.
