The Stockdale Dam

This week I am looking at different things in Roann, Indiana in the afternoons. This old mill in Stockdale is just down the road from Roann. When I saw that this was near the covered bridge it made this little detour worthwhile. I love the calm water and how the mill reflects on it. This was a very fun little photo session to have.

A Different Look

I wish that I could say that I planned this photo, but I did not. I pulled into the wrong place to see the mill. The scenic overlook was just down from where I was. I really liked this image though. I think it worked way better than what I would have gotten down the road. Sometimes the mistake while exploring pans out.
