The Whatnot Thrift Shoppe

This was a fun find while walking in North Manchester. I will admit that when we walked by this shop my head was in the clouds. My youngest was walking and started to notice the things in front of the this store. I really liked the idea of everything in front of the store adding something to the photo. You can stay in the photo longer looking around to see everything. This was a good find, and a fun photo from a road trip.

Making Photos Again

Last week I doubled my road gallery for 2026. Trips to Logansport and the trip to and from Warsaw really gave me some photos to use on the blog. During softball season I really don’t make many photos outside of sports photos. In most seasons I think that it helps me creatively to make other kinds of photos. Softball season is so busy though that I typically don’t want to edit any extra photos. This year I started just using my Sony A7RIII for my fun photography. I didn’t always edit the photos right away. I would wait for a slower day to edit the photos. A week like this with softball slowing down allows me to start to ramp up my other photography again.
