The Wabash County Courthouse

This courthouse has a little history on its side. The lights on the top of the courthouse were turned on it March of 1880 making this the site of the first electrically lit city in the world. That is crazy that it happened in this little Indiana town. Paris is the city of lights, but Wabash is the city where it all started.

Courthouse Week

This week I am looking at a few courthouses that I have seen over the years. You can tell a lot about the town by the courthouse square. I have had some fun traveling over the past couple of years finding the courthouses and the best way to photograph them. This week I will be taking a look at five of them that I like.
