The Old Monticello Library
I love this old jewel bank looking library in Monticello, Indiana. When my oldest plays games at Twin Lakes the light is usually good when the game is over. It hits this old library perfectly at the end of the day. The sky stays blue and the building really pops with the right light on it. This library will show up a few more times on the blog over the years I am sure.
Where It Started?
I remember seeing this old library a couple of years ago after a game that my oldest was playing. I didn’t know what it was, but it looked cool to me. I saw that it was the local historical society. It did say library though so I looked into it a little. What I found would lead to a fun scavenger hunt every time that I travel now. I try to find these old libraries every chance that I get. I am pretty sure that this was the first one that I put on the blog under the Carnegie Library label.
