A Familiar Barn

On the way home from Monticello the other day I took a little detour to avoid construction. It took me past an old barn that I have driven past for years. It is part of my roaming area in the winter looking for owls. Here the light was just right to make this photo. I love the way that the late day light makes the barn look. The dark blue clouds in the background really help everything pop as well.

Looking For Barns

On these types of trips I am always looking for barns to photograph. You never know how much longer they will be around so why not photograph them a ton while they are here?
