The Barn In Town

This barn is in the town of West Point. I always have questions about barns that are in town. Was this the only thing here at one point? Did the town just come up around it? This barn looks like it has a lot of history to it, and it would be cool to learn about some of that history.

Barn Week

A couple of weeks ago we drove by an empty lot where a very cool barn once stood. Early on in the life of this blog I made a photo of that barn. When I pulled up to it I had the thought that I would wait for a better day. I made the photo anyway as a reminder to come back. I came back the next week at sunset and the barn had been torn down. From that day on I have made the photo of a barn that I think is interesting. This week is all about those barns for my theme.
