A Nice Barn Photo After The Game

I made this photo after photographing a softball game in Chalmers. That will be a recurring theme with these barn photos this week. I made most of these photos on the way to or from a softball game. This barn was just outside of the place where we parked for the game. There was a storm coming in from the west so the light was kind of muted. It seemed perfect to make this photo.

Barn Week

A couple of weeks ago we drove by an empty lot where a very cool barn once stood. Early on in the life of this blog I made a photo of that barn. When I pulled up to it I had the thought that I would wait for a better day. I made the photo anyway as a reminder to come back. I came back the next week at sunset and the barn had been torn down. From that day on I have made the photo of a barn that I think is interesting. This week is all about those barns for my theme.
