Harrison Does The Blackout Again

This Harrison blackout game is always a fun one to photograph. It is always one of my favorite games to cover. Last year I had a conflict and was not able to attend. This year I was able to go, and it was a fun game to photograph. A couple of years ago I had the idea to keep everything from the game in black and white. That kind of fit the theme of the game. I used some previous game photos from the gym to develop a new Lightroom preset to use for the game. It really gives the photos an inky black feel that fits the theme this month.

A Blacked Out February

February is usually the month where I go all in on black and white photos. There is not a lot of color out there right now. What better month to just focus on black and white photography. If you go into a photo session thinking black and white you think a little differently. It is a fun exercise to do, and this month every post in the afternoon will be a black and white photo. Normally I keep my sports posts to Saturday, but given the theme I thought that it was okay to break this game out from the rest to talk about it. It was kind of a different game for me so it made sense. Below are a few bonus photos from the day that I liked.
