The Faces Of Andre Cobre

One of my favorite murals in Lafayette is the conductor mural on Wabash Avenue. It was painted by Andre Cobre. When I saw this mural on the 24/7 Fitness Club I didn’t need to see the signature to know who had painted it. These detailed murals of faces amaze me. I really don’t know how the artists do them. I wish that I could have shown the entire mural, but a car was blocking park of it so I decided on a more detailed look at it. This mural is showing some signs of wear and tear so hopefully I can get back up there soon to get the entire mural into a frame.

Mural Mornings

All week this week I will have a second theme of the murals of Rensselaer. I made a lot of photos that I liked on my trip to the town so it makes sense to share a few of my favorites. There are so many murals in town that it will take a few weeks to share them all. I have a super busy week so it will be murals in the morning this week followed by more softball roadtrip photos in the afternoon.
