A Round Barn At The State Fairgrounds

I made this photo this past weekend after finishing up my track meet at the fairgrounds. I had a long walk to my car both days, but sights like this barn made it easier. I was too eager on the way in Friday to stop and make a photo. I was far too tired Friday night to make a photo. Saturday morning again I was too eager to get in and start my day. As I left for the last time the blue hour light was too good to pass up. I stopped and made this photo. I love a good round barn, and I wish that they were selling the ice cream that is advertised on the building. After a long day at the track it would have been amazing.

A Camera Handy

Normally when I leave an arena I have everything zipped up in a bag and it is harder to get to. On this trip I had my shoulder bag with me along with my roller. It is my everyday shoulder bag ready to make photos. I brought it for the drive to make photos, and it came in handy here. I just grabbed my camera and made this photo. Part of photography is having a camera ready. I was tired and ready to head home here, but one quick photo wouldn’t hurt.
