The Native American Huts Through The Tall Grass
On my way back from one of my eagle spots the other day I saw this photo. I liked the idea of making a photo of the huts in Prophetstown with the tall grass in the foreground. This time of year it is the only thing that would give this photo any color. I need to try this again at blue hour to see if I can make something work. I think that with a long enough shutter speed at the right time of day this could be a really cool photo.
Going Long
I made this photo with my 200-600mm lens. I have been trying to use it for more than just sports and wildlife lately. One of these days I plan on taking just it up to campus to make myself see things a little differently. I like the idea of changing things up with the telephoto landscape photo.

love this capture and the opened door on the one hut adds an inviting feel.
We visited a tall grass area in Illinois when we lived there. Magical.
