More With The Posing Palm Warblers

This palm warbler gave me a few poses the other day. I was really hoping for more in the red bud tree before the flowers are gone, but I kind of like this simple pose as well. It is more of a bird on a stick photo, but with this bird I will take whatever I can make of it. As the warbler season heats up I will have plenty of chances to make more palm warbler photos with more of the environment around them.

Making The Most Out Of A Bad Situation

For the past couple of years the downed trees at the Celery Bog have been an eyesore. They were just cut down and stacked up just off the path. It was a terrible look that for some reason was allowed to happen. As those trees are starting to rot though they are making some interesting perches for the birds. I still think that it is a bad look the way that they are stacked up everywhere, but at least something good is coming from it.
