Back To Another Prom

Saturday night I attended my first prom in thirty years. In 1994 I had my senior prom back in my hometown. The big song of the day was “Can You Feel The Love Tonight” by Elton John. As you can tell by us jamming to a song from the Lion King we were pretty hardcore back then. It was interesting to see just how much has changed in thirty years. Some things never change though. When you are a senior in high school the world is yours. Everything is forward. There is a big step coming up soon that you can’t wait for. It was really fun to see that again. The ballroom at the Union is a perfect setting for it as well.
