A Slight Break In The Clouds

After days of rain the sun started to try and come out last night. I was up in Lafayette so I went for a little photowalk. The days of rain left a few puddles all over town so I could have some fun making reflection photos. I found myself in front of the Lafayette Theater. It is such an iconic building that I really enjoy finding new ways to make photos of it. Here I found a big enough puddle to make a photo that I have been trying to perfect a bit. With my 12mm lens I was able to really show off some of that great sky.

Getting Out There

I was up town with an hour to kill at a perfect time. That is not always the case, but I really wanted to take advantage of that. It felt good to get out there and get a little creative. When you are looking for reflections it really adds some fun to a photowalk. I am sure that I looked like a crazy person at times, but it was worth it to make some photos. This one might be one of my favorites from the day.
