The Bald Eagles Make Their Way To The Black And White Project

Of course during the month when I am not going to post color photos I start to see more bald eagles than I have in a while. I broke the rule for one day to post a photo of a bald eagle that I really liked. I still had a black and white from that trip, but the lead image was in color. Here this was always the lead image to a post. The sky was not even that cloudy, but as I made this I knew what I was going to go for. I really like the way that this photo turned out.

A Forgotten Project

Last year I started to put together some photos from days when the sky was not so great. I was making some high key animal photos with the thought of a cool post for the blog. Of course I was not getting out to make bird photos as much at the end of the year so the project never really was finished. I still use some of those ideas from time to time. This photo is one of those times.
