Finding The Obvious Light

When I started this black and white project I knew that I would end up at this marquee. Early on I actually did make a photo of it, but the sky was so nice I had to put that one back for another day. Here I went up to the Lafayette Theatre with a photo like this in mind. I wanted to have my frame ready and wait for someone to walk into it. Here I got what I wanted. The fact that they are checking out the coming attractions just makes it a little cooler to me.

A Mini-Theater Week

This will be kind of weird. In the future I have already written a weeks worth of posts with various photos that I have made of different theaters. This week we will get at least three theaters during the week. I really love this one, and I always find myself back in front of it. The funny thing about the theater week though is that I wrote the posts so long ago that I thought they may have already been posted. It looks like it will be the first full week of March before that happens. It is a fun week that I can’t wait for it to go live.
