A Quick, Rainy Walk In Downtown Lafayette

This morning before the sun came up I took a quick walk downtown to try and find some Christmas reflections. As I said in my post earlier today my three targets that I was thinking about driving up there were all dark with no lights on. The fun part about downtown Lafayette is that the Christmas spirit is all over so it was easy to find a couple of other subjects for the blog. Here I liked how the blue hour sky was mixing with the glow of the downtown lights. It creates an interesting sky for this scene.

We Will See This View Again

Tomorrow night our entire family will be in the Lafayette Christmas parade in some form. We will be in two separate groups on the route. I am sure that some photos from the night will show up on the blog in some form or another. I always loved attending the parade, but now we get a different view of it as we walk the route.
