Loeb Fountain On LomoChrome Color ’92

Photographing Loeb Fountain On Film

One fun thing about film is that you cannot see your result right away. When you are trying a longer exposure you have to rely on the meter in the camera or on my phone. Here I thought that it came out pretty well. The best day of the week is the one where the film scans come in. You get to see how good or bad your ideas the previous week were.

Using LomoChrome Color ’92

I really have some issues with this film. To be fair I realize that was probably not using it to its strengths. After using the second roll of this film I realized that I probably don’t want to have the sky in any photos. If I do have the sky in the photos I like the look better when I convert the file over to black and white. Here this has a nice Ilford look to it, but if I am going to do that I might as well just use Ilford. By the time this post goes live I will have my film back from the third roll where I tried some things out with it. Hopefully I found the answer to how I can use this to make photos that I like.
