The Boone County Courthouse In Lebanon, Indiana
About a month ago while on my way back from Indy I stopped for a couple of minutes in Lebanon, Indiana to make a couple of photos. Over the years I had driven by this town a lot, but never really stopped. I didn’t have time for too many photos so I decided to just walk around the courthouse square. I thought that my walk was over so I was heading back to my car when I saw this composition. I really like the way that the flag stands out against the blue sky.
Portra 400
So far my favorite film might just be Portra 400. That is not a huge revelation as I think it is a very well thought of film. I love the way that it renders a scene for me. The dynamic range of the film is good, and it helped bring this scene to life. I am still going through and trying different types of films to see what they can do, but for a daytime film right now nothing beats Portra 400 for me.
