A Photo From The Park
A couple of weeks ago we had a couple of celebrations for my youngest. One of them was at one of the Shelters at Happy Hollow Park. At some point during the party the two of us walked a few steps away from the shelter to make some photos. I turned back and saw the way the light was hitting, and thought that it could be a good photo. It is a kind of minimalist way to show the day.
A Not So Sure Shot
I made this photo with my Canon SureShot. That camera has really made me scratch my head. I know that it is a 40+ year old point and shoot camera, but I expected more sure with my shots. It really is hit or miss, and I can’t put my finger on when it it will hit or miss. A photo like this one really shows what it can do when it hits. The Tri-X film along with it really made for a fun scene. When it misses though it misses big. For some reason it will just randomly underexpose an image. I sort of want to figure this out, but with the price of film and developing that seems expensive to troubleshoot right now. I put it in the closet to bring out for another day.
