Ten Years Ago My Life Changed
Ten years ago today everything changed for me. My daughter was born, and everything that I thought that I knew changed. Of course me being me I smuggled a small point and shoot into the delivery room. I don’t know what my plan was, but I wanted a photo of this moment. I made the photo above which immediately became my favorite photo that I have ever made. It is hard to believe that I made this photo ten years ago. It seems like it was just yesterday. When they tell you that time flies when you have kids they are not kidding.
Ten Years Of Photos
Part of the fun that I have with Lanie is when she comes along on my photo adventures. She can see firsthand what a crazy person her dad becomes when it comes to photography. Now that she is a little older she even makes some photos on these trips herself. I had the thought of posting some of my favorite photos from the first ten years here, but that would be way too crazy to cull through everything to post. I like the photo above that we made this summer. We got a new Instax camera to play around with, and right away I made this multi-exposure for some fun. I loved how it worked, and that she sat through me figuring out how to do it. This weekend is all about her. My posts have been scheduled, and there are parties to have.

Sounds like an excellent weekend, Dave. Those years do fly by. Our daughters are both in their thirties and we have one year-and-a-half old grandson! 🙂

Wow. Time does fly. It is a fun time thought that I wouldn’t trade for anything. Hope that you and your family are well.
We’re doing very well. Thanks.
And happy birthday to your daughter!
