Pizza King In Otterbein, Indiana
For some reason these old pizza king restaurants always draw my attention. Over the past few years I have photographed them whenever I have seen them. I made this photo a couple of weeks ago while I was driving around in Otterbein. It was one of the hottest days of the year, but I just needed to get out and make some photos. When I made this photo even with the sun low the heat index was over 100. There was a steady stream of traffic going in and out of here, and it took some patience and walking around for me to get a clear angle at the building. There is just something about these types of buildings that make me want to photograph them.
One Last Trip With The Sony A7R4
This was one of my last photo shoots with the Sony A7R4 before sending it in to get fixed up. The fall during that last lightning storm busted my viewfinder, and I found that I was not always confident in my focus when I wasn’t using the viewfinder to get a better view. One of the great things about the mirrorless camera is getting to review your images in that viewfinder. Hopefully it comes back quickly so that I can start making photos with it all over again.
