Getting To My Favorite Barn At The Perfect Time

Friday night I went out for a drive to photograph a couple of small towns. On my way back home I took a shortcut to pass by one of my favorite barns. This barn is just out there in the country with a huge American flag on it. The have recently upgraded the flag to a much larger one making the photos even better. Here the light was perfect and the corn was just the right height to make an interesting image. To me this is the ultimate midwest photo. The only thing that could have made it more midwest would be a basketball hoop somewhere on the barn.

Getting Ready For August

August is always a fun month for me. It means the return of high school and college sports. Starting tomorrow I will finally start posting some of my favorite photos from the spring sports season. The rest of this week will feature some of my favorite softball and baseball photos from the two local teams that I see the most. Before you know it though the fall sports season will be here.
