Taking A Walk Around Purdue

During the Thanksgiving holiday I took a walk around campus. I was scouting out some Christmas photos, but the main reason for the walk was to find some subjects for infrared photography. With the blue sky and a mostly empty campus it was the perfect time to try this out.  I have really fallen in love with how these images convert to black and white. Part of the fun of taking the walk is seeing the light a little differently. You are looking for reflected light. It is fun to look at things differently.

A Look Back

This is always a time for me to look forward. The first of the year is a time to fill up the 2023 albums for the first time. I am always filled with optimism for what I will be able to do this year. In addition to looking forward to that this year will also be about looking back a little. 2013 was an amazing year for me personally as well as professionally. I have a few posts planned to look back on a pretty great year for me. The goal always lies ahead, but sometimes it is fun to look back and see how you got to where you are.
