Visiting The Buck Creek Elevator Again

Years ago when I started this photography blog I was starting my photo 365 project. This elevator showed up a couple of times early on in the history of the blog. I used to just drive and get “purposely lost”. I would drive around with no real destination and just randomly pick where to turn. All roads must have led to Buck Creek then because I would often end up here.

A Hot Summer Day

While it is not officially summer yet the dog days are here. Last night I was in Buck Creek to watch my oldest play softball. After the game I drove down the road for a quick photo session in a familiar place. I spent a few minutes out of the car before the air conditioning started to really sound good again. When the temperature is so high I usually am not in much of a photography mood, but last night this elevator was too good to pass up.
