A Quick Stop At McCord Candies

Saturday while in Lafayette we made the quick trip to McCord Candies to grab a few things. I always love how they decorate for the holidays. I have always had this grand idea of a long exposure showing the people streaming through the store from the top level. That idea has never happened, but while we were checking out I decided to make this photo of my view. It is just a small glimpse of what makes this place so great.

Candy Cane Madness

One of these years I would also like to document how they make their candy canes. As I sit and think about what is next for me little vignettes into the community would be pretty cool. Just making photos stories that interest me could benefit this blog as well as the local business. There is a lot to think about heading into this new year.
