Harrison Soccer Wins An Exciting Game Over Fort Wayne
Wednesday night I was at Harrison to watch a little soccer. I can’t believe that it took until the regional round to finally see the Harrison women’s team in action, but that was the case. If I was only going to be able to make one game all year this was a good one to make though. The action was good, and a second half goal propelled Harrison to the next round.
An Amazing Sunset
Stormy night usually produce the best sunsets. That was the case Wednesday night. I quit worrying about the action for a little while to concentrate on this sunset. These are photos that rely on the action to come to you. Here the action is a little far away, but I liked how it was centered. I need to keep getting better at putting the long lens down when the light turns great like this.
Postseason Emotion
I have been staying up way too late at night lately watching postseason baseball. The emotion there is great. Seeing the great emotion in person Wednesday was amazing. In a sport like soccer the game could change at any moment, and that makes photographing the games very fun. Add in the heightened nature of the post season and it gets even better.
More Photos From The Night
Here is a link to my gallery from the game. This gallery is unlocked and you can download the images for personal use. Saturday afternoon I felt that I had a bad half photographing soccer. It was nice to get back out there and make some images that I liked.
