The New African Penguins At The Columbian Park Zoo

Yesterday before the Aviators game we went to the Columbian Park Zoo to see the new African penguins that just recently arrived. We were not sure what to expect, but they came right up to us at the glass and gave us a good first look at them. They are pretty amazing, and a cool edition to the zoo.

Moving To The Side

After we saw them up close we moved over to the water side of the exhibit to see if they would move over there to see us. They did move over, and we were able to see them swim as well. They were very interested in my daughters shoes, and that interest allowed us to see up close how they take in air to dive and swim under water. It was a great first trip to see the penguins for sure.
